This collaboration brings together AHLEM’s modern and minimalist eyewear with PALAIS GALLIERA’s world-renowned fashion archive in an extraordinary stylistic partnership.

The Galliera is at once relaxed and sophisticated, understated and impactful. Oversized lenses that wrap around the entire face evoke the mystery, glamour, and power synonymous with high fashion: these frames can protect their wearer not just from the sunlight, but from any interference whatsoever. AHLEM wanted to express something more nuanced as well. The Galliera’s architecture—sculpted curves and gently inturning temples—is spare and unadorned, almost demure. Minimalism is for the truly confident; there is nowhere to hide bad craftsmanship or poor ideas.
